Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ has achieved a notable box office milestone, establishing itself as the highest-grossing Indian film in North America. The movie’s remarkable performance has seen it break existing records.
North American Box Office Triumph
‘Dhurandhar’ collected 21 million dollars in North America, surpassing S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2’, which previously held the record with 20.7 million dollars in the region. The film’s global earnings are also approaching the 1300 crore club.
Domestically, ‘Dhurandhar’ garnered a net collection of 800 crore and a gross collection of 1000 crore. Its overseas collection stands at 32 million dollars, even with bans in the Middle East. Furthermore, the film has become the highest-grossing Indian film in Australia.
Surpassing Major Titles
In its North American run, ‘Dhurandhar’ has outpaced several other major Indian films, including ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ (18.5 million dollars), ‘Pathaan’ (17.5 million dollars), ‘Jawan’ (15.6 million dollars), ‘RRR’ (15.3 million dollars), ‘Pushpa 2’ (15.3 million dollars), ‘Animal’ (14 million dollars), and ‘Dangal’ (12.4 million dollars). Overall, ‘Dhurandhar’ ranks as the 13th highest-grossing Indian film in the overseas market.
