Davinder Natt Suicide Case: LOC Issued Against Builder and Associates

Date:

Suicide of Advocate Davinder Natt Shocks Punjab

The alleged suicide of advocate Davinder Pal Singh Natt in Punjab’s Bathinda district has created a major stir in the region. The young lawyer, who was the son of late Congress leader Sukhraj Singh Natt, reportedly ended his life at his residence, leaving behind a video and suicide note accusing several individuals of harassment and financial fraud.

According to police sources, Davinder Natt allegedly used his licensed firearm to shoot himself late at night. Before taking the extreme step, he recorded a video message explaining the circumstances that pushed him into severe mental stress.

The tragic incident has sparked public outrage and raised questions about the alleged financial dispute mentioned in the note.

Allegations Against Builder in Suicide Video

In the video and suicide note, Davinder Natt reportedly accused a well-known builder and his family members of cheating him in a financial deal. According to the allegations, he had invested a large amount of money—around ₹4 crore—in the builder’s project, but the amount was allegedly not returned.

Natt also stated that he had approached several authorities and political leaders for help but did not receive justice. The lack of resolution reportedly left him deeply distressed.

Family members said the financial losses and prolonged stress had taken a serious toll on his mental health.

Police Register Case, Investigation Begins

Following the incident, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body. The suicide note and the recorded video were also seized as evidence.

Based on the complaint filed by the deceased’s mother, the police registered a case of abetment to suicide against the individuals named in the note.

Officials confirmed that further investigation is underway to verify the allegations and gather more evidence.

LOC Issued Against Accused

As the investigation progressed, the police issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against the accused individuals to prevent them from leaving the country. The move was taken to ensure their availability during the investigation process.

Authorities believe the LOC will help investigators question the accused and determine their role in the financial dispute.

Police officials stated that all aspects of the case are being examined carefully, including the financial transactions mentioned in the suicide note.

Political and Public Reaction

The case has drawn significant attention in Punjab due to the political background of the deceased’s family. Davinder Natt was the son of former Congress leader Sukhraj Singh Natt, who had contested multiple elections in the state.

Several political leaders and social activists have demanded a fair and transparent investigation into the matter. Meanwhile, the police have assured that strict action will be taken if any individual is found responsible.

Authorities have urged people not to spread rumours and to wait for the official investigation results.
