  • Practice Respiratory and Hand Hygiene: Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Cover coughs and sneezes with tissues or your inner elbow.

  • Wear Protective Masks: Wearing a well-fitted N95 or surgical mask during flu season in crowded conference rooms reduces inhalation of viral aerosols.

  • Sanitize Workstations Daily: Disinfect personal desks, keyboards, computer mice, and mobile phones regularly.

  • Get Vaccinated: Medical experts emphasize that getting the annual quadrivalent flu vaccine remains the single most effective defense against H1N1 and severe influenza complications.
