Three Delhi Schools Receive Bomb Threat Emails, Search Operations Underway

Date:

Threat Emails Trigger Immediate Evacuations

At least three schools in New Delhi received bomb threat emails on Thursday morning, triggering rapid evacuations and search operations by police, fire services, and security teams.

The alarming messages were reportedly sent to CRPF Public School, St Thomas School in Dwarka, and DAV Centenary Public School in Paschim Enclave. Authorities treated the threat seriously, immediately activating emergency protocols to protect students, staff, and nearby communities.

Rescue Teams and Search Efforts

As soon as the bomb threat emails were received, fire tenders, police personnel, bomb disposal squads, and dog units were dispatched to the school sites. All campuses were put on alert, and students and teachers were safely evacuated as a precautionary measure while detailed search operations were carried out.

Security teams conducted thorough sweeps of the premises. According to officials, no suspicious objects were found during initial inspections, though sanitisation and detailed search procedures were ongoing to ensure complete safety.

Cyber Investigation Underway

The Delhi Police have alerted cyber units to investigate the origin of the threatening emails. Officers are analysing the content and source of these emails to determine whether they are genuine or hoaxes, and they are also checking if similar threats were sent to other institutions.

This incident highlights the continued risk of digital bomb threats that can disrupt the functioning of public institutions and cause widespread fear among parents, students, and school staff — even when threats ultimately prove to be false or unverified.
