Godrej Consumer Products Announces 500% Interim Dividend

Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) has announced an interim dividend for its investors. The company, known for FMCG products such as Godrej No. 1, Cinthol, Godrej Expert, and Good Night, made the announcement on Friday, January 23, after market close.

Alongside the dividend declaration, GCPL also released its financial results for the December quarter of the fiscal year 2026.

Interim Dividend Details

The board has approved an interim dividend of Rs 5 per share for its equity shareholders. This dividend is based on a face value of Rs 1 per share, translating to a 500% payout for the financial year 2025-26.

The announcement has created a positive sentiment among investors regarding the company’s outlook.

Record and Payment Dates

As per the company’s filing with the exchange, the record date for this interim dividend has been set for Friday, January 30. Only investors holding the company’s shares on this specified date will be eligible to receive the dividend.

Godrej Consumer Products has also clarified the payment schedule. Eligible investors can expect the interim dividend to be credited to their accounts before February 22.
