India Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Grand Parade at Kartavya Path

Date:

India celebrated its 77th Republic Day with great pride and patriotism on Monday as a grand parade was held at Kartavya Path in the national capital. The celebrations showcased India’s military strength, cultural diversity, and technological progress.

The parade was led by the President of India, who took the salute, while the Prime Minister and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. Various contingents of the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and paramilitary forces marched in perfect discipline.

A major highlight of the event was the spectacular flypast by the Indian Air Force. Fighter jets, helicopters, and transport aircraft flew in formation, drawing loud applause from the audience.

Several tableaux from states and Union Territories, along with central ministries, depicted India’s rich heritage, development initiatives, and achievements. Traditional dance performances and cultural displays added color and vibrancy to the parade.

Security across Delhi was tight, with over 30,000 security personnel deployed. The Delhi Police issued traffic advisories and restrictions to ensure smooth conduct of the event.

Republic Day marks the adoption of the Indian Constitution on January 26, 1950, and the annual parade symbolizes the unity, strength, and democratic spirit of the nation.
