9 Terror Suspects Linked To ISI, Dawood Network Arrested In Delhi; Major Attack Plot Foiled

Date:

Security Agencies Foil Major Terror Conspiracy

In a major breakthrough for India’s security agencies, the Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested nine suspected terror operatives allegedly linked to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the criminal network associated with fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim. The arrests were made following an extensive intelligence-led operation that uncovered a suspected conspiracy to carry out attacks on important locations in and around the national capital.

According to investigators, the accused were allegedly involved in planning coordinated attacks aimed at creating panic and disrupting public safety. The arrests have been described as a significant success in preventing a potential terror incident.

Arms, Explosives Recovered During Operation

Officials confirmed that arms, ammunition, and explosive materials were recovered during the operation. Preliminary investigations indicate that the suspects were allegedly receiving guidance and support from handlers operating outside India.

Security agencies are examining the seized materials and digital devices to determine the full extent of the network and identify any additional associates connected to the case.

Links To ISI And Dawood Ibrahim Network Under Investigation

Investigators believe the arrested individuals had connections with operatives linked to Pakistan’s ISI and the Dawood Ibrahim criminal syndicate. Authorities are probing financial transactions, communication records, and possible international connections that may have facilitated the alleged conspiracy.

The investigation is also focusing on whether the suspects had received training or logistical support from foreign-based handlers.

Key Installations And Security Personnel Allegedly Targeted

Sources associated with the investigation indicated that vital installations, public locations, and security personnel were among the potential targets being monitored by the accused. Authorities suspect that reconnaissance activities were conducted before the arrests.

Following the operation, security measures have been strengthened across sensitive locations in Delhi and surrounding regions as a precautionary step.

Intelligence Operation Prevented Potential Threat

Officials stated that continuous surveillance, intelligence gathering, and coordinated action among security agencies helped prevent what could have become a serious threat. The arrests highlight ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to identify and dismantle terror modules operating within the country.

Investigators are currently questioning the accused and examining digital evidence to uncover the broader network behind the alleged plot.

Investigation Continues

The Delhi Police Special Cell and other security agencies are continuing their investigation to determine the full scope of the operation. Authorities are also working to identify any sleeper cells or support networks that may be connected to the suspects.

Further disclosures are expected as the investigation progresses and forensic analysis of seized devices is completed.
