Mirzapur The Movie Advance Booking Crosses Rs 6 Crore Mark Ahead of Release

Date:

The theatrical adaptation of the massive OTT phenomenon, Mirzapur: The Movie, is witnessing an explosive response at the box office. With fans eagerly awaiting the return of the iconic characters to the silver screen, the advance booking numbers have officially breached the Rs 6 crore threshold, reflecting massive anticipation nationwide.

Massive Pre-Sale Collections Across India

According to trade analytics, pre-sale figures have rapidly accelerated in the final countdown to release. Total advance booking collections have crossed Rs 6.03 crore gross across India, inclusive of blocked seats. Over 1.40 lakh tickets have been sold in advance across 7,400+ scheduled shows in major circuits.

Strong Demand in Key Territories

The theatrical adaptation is seeing immense traction in Hindi-speaking regions. States like Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Maharashtra, and Bihar lead the ticket sales. Premium cinema formats and prime evening shows are recording high occupancy, with ticket prices ranging from standard rates to premium screen charges exceeding Rs 1,600 in metropolitan hubs.

Star Cast and High-Stakes Narrative

Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and produced by Excel Entertainment along with Amazon MGM Studios, the film brings back fan favorites Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, and Shweta Tripathi Sharma. The crime drama expands the original storyline into a bigger cinematic spectacle, introducing new cast members like Ravi Kishan and Jitendra Kumar to intensify the power struggle.

Expectations for Opening Day Box Office

With no major competition in the Hindi market and strong advance trends, trade analysts project a robust Day 1 collection. Early estimates suggest an opening day net figure in the range of Rs 15 crore to Rs 20 crore, positioning the film as one of the significant theatrical openings of the season.
