RBI ਦੇ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਾਂਤ ਦਾਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਖਰਾਬ, ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦਾਖਲ

RBI ਦੇ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਾਂਤ ਦਾਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਖਰਾਬ, ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦਾਖਲ
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵ ਬੈਂਕ (ਆਰਬੀਆਈ) ਦੇ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਾਂਤ ਦਾਸ ਨੂੰ 25 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2024 ਦੀ ਰਾਤ ਐਸਿਡਿਟੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਚੇਨਈ ਦੇ ਅਪੋਲੋ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਦਾਖ਼ਲਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਸਥਿਰ ਰਹੀ।
ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ, 26 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2024 ਨੂੰ, ਆਰਬੀਆਈ ਦੇ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਨੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਦਾਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 2-3 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਅਪੋਲੋ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਜਨਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ।
ਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਾਂਤ ਦਾਸ, ਜੋ 67 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਹਨ, ਨੇ ਦਸੰਬਰ 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਰਬੀਆਈ ਦੇ 25ਵੇਂ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਚਾਰਜ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਮਿਆਦ 10 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2024 ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਣੀ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਆਦ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ 1960 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਆਰਬੀਆਈ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਬਣ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ।
ਇਸ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਗਵਰਨਰ ਦਾਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਸਥਿਰ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਰਾਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
