Overview of the Satlok Ashram Firing Incident
The investigation into the high-profile firing incident at Sant Rampal’s Satlok Ashram located in Pipli, Kurukshetra, has taken a dramatic turn. Haryana Police have uncovered startling details regarding a coordinated conspiracy behind the attack. What initially appeared to be a random act of violence has now unraveled into a deep-rooted criminal conspiracy involving contract killing, foreign funding, and active nexus with organized gangs operating from overseas.
Role of the Arrested Shooter and Foreign Funding
During extensive police interrogations of the primary accused, identified as Anil alias Sopu alias Totla, shocking facts came to light. The accused confessed that he was hired to execute the firing at the ashram for a meager amount of Rs 5,000. Investigators revealed that the entire operation was backed by foreign funding, orchestrated by criminal syndicates operating from abroad through internet calling and social media networks to destabilize communal harmony and create panic.
Weapons Supply Chain and Local Accomplices
The police investigation further exposed the supply chain of illegal firearms used in the crime. The local handler, a 23-year-old Karnal resident named Vanshu associated with the notorious Trishool gang, allegedly delivered the country-made pistol to the shooter. Authorities had previously arrested a local accomplice, Premchand, whose sustained interrogation ultimately led investigators to trace and nab Anil following a brief encounter with Karnal Police.
Upcoming Legal Actions and Police Remand
As the network deepens, Kurukshetra Police are seeking further custody remand of the accused shooter to unravel the entire interstate and international conspiracy. Investigators are determined to track down the masterminds operating from overseas and dismantle the Trishool gang’s network completely. The fast-paced developments have put security agencies on high alert to prevent any further security breaches or orchestrated violence in the region.
