Pakistani Army’s Allegation: Excuses Are Being Made for Aggression

Date:

The Pakistani Army has accused India of searching for excuses to justify aggression, citing recent statements from Indian Defence Minister, Army Chief, and Air Force Chief. In a statement issued by the ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations), Pakistan’s military described these remarks as “unrealistic, provocative, and war-mongering.” It also warned that any intent to “wipe out” the country would result in heavy losses on both sides.

Summary of Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi’s Statement

Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, speaking in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, stated that if Pakistan wants to continue to exist in history and geography, it must end state-sponsored terrorism. He added that during “Operation Sindoor 1.0,” India had shown restraint — but if a similar situation arises again, India will be fully prepared and will not display the same restraint as before.

Operation Sindoor and Subsequent Events

In April 2025, following the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Army launched strikes on militant camps inside Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir under the name “Operation Sindoor.” The operation triggered cross-border military clashes, which eventually ceased after a ceasefire was declared on May 10.

Military Readiness and Message

General Dwivedi also reviewed troop deployments and readiness in the forward areas of Anupgarh, urging soldiers to remain vigilant and fully prepared. He emphasized that any future response from India could force Pakistan to reconsider its existence and role in the region.
