According to official reports, Gurwinder Singh, a Physical Education (DPE) teacher posted at Adarsh Senior Secondary School in Hardasa, was driving his car (registration number PB-29-AD-2821) toward Kot Ise Khan. Accompanying him was Abhay Pratap Singh Aulakh, a young student athlete. As their vehicle reached the stretch near Talwandi Jalle Khan village, a speeding Scorpio (registration number PB-05-AU-2080) coming from the opposite direction crashed directly into their car. The extreme intensity of the collision resulted in critical, life-threatening injuries for both victims on the spot.
Promising Young Athlete Lost His Life
The tragedy holds immense grief for the family of Abhay Pratap Singh Aulakh, who was the only child of his parents. Abhay was a student at Jeevan Mal School in Zira and represented Adarsh Senior Secondary School, Hardasa, as an Under-17 softball player. On the day of the incident, he had completed his daily sports practice session at school and was returning home to Kot Ise Khan with his teacher, Gurwinder Singh, when the accident cut his promising sports career and life short.
