Benefits of Lakshmi Puja

Lakshmi Puja is one of the most significant rituals of Diwali, bringing mental, financial, and social prosperity. Worshiping Goddess Lakshmi removes poverty and enhances financial stability.
Along with Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha is worshiped for wisdom and good fortune. Their combined worship ensures peace, balance, and happiness in life.

For the business community, Diwali marks the beginning of a new financial year. They perform ledger (bahi-khata) puja to seek success and growth. Lighting diyas on the dark night of Amavasya also symbolizes the removal of ignorance and negativity.

Significance of Lakshmi Puja

Lakshmi Puja during Pradosh Kaal on Amavasya is considered most auspicious. Devotees also worship Lord Ganesha, Goddess Saraswati, and Lord Kuber. Performing Puja in stable lagna (Vrishabh, Singh, Vrishchik, or Kumbh) brings long-lasting prosperity.
It is believed that performing Lakshmi Puja during Amavasya, Pradosh Kaal, and stable lagna invites Goddess Lakshmi to reside in the home, ensuring wealth and happiness
