Dr. Ranjit Nayak and S. Jagtar Singh Multani join prominent Lubana leaders and scholars at the launch
Punjab: The national community portal of the Lubana Samaj, www.lubanasamaj.in, was formally launched today by Bibi Jagir Kaur at her residence.
The launch was attended by Dr. Ranjit Nayak, President of Akhil Bhartiya Lubana Samaj, and S. Jagtar Singh Multani, President of Punjab Lubana Samaj, along with Yuvraj Bhupinder Singh, Prof. Jaswant Singh and several prominent Lubana community leaders, scholars and distinguished personalities from the region.
The newly launched website has been developed as a national digital community portal for Lubana Samaj, with the aim of bringing members of the community together on a common digital platform.
The portal provides a range of services and information related to the community, including Matrimonial, Kutumb (Family Tree), Member Directory, Events, Gotras & Heritage, Blogs and News.
A Digital Platform for the Lubana Community
The Matrimonial section is designed to provide a dedicated platform for families and individuals seeking suitable matrimonial alliances within the community.
The Kutumb (Family Tree) section focuses on documenting family relationships and genealogical information, helping members preserve their family history and connections for future generations.
Through the Member Directory, community members can find and connect with other members, while the Events section will provide information about community programmes, gatherings and important activities.
The Gotras & Heritage section aims to document and highlight information related to Lubana gotras, history, traditions and cultural heritage. The portal will also feature Blogs and News, providing space for community-related stories, articles, achievements, announcements and updates.
The website is intended to serve Lubana Samaj members not only in Punjab but across India and wherever members of the community are located.
The presence of senior community leaders, scholars and prominent personalities at the launch reflected the importance being attached to creating a common digital platform for the community.
