Punjab: In a significant step towards digitally connecting the Lubana community across India and abroad, Dr. Ranjit Nayak, President of Akhil Bhartiya Lubana Samaj, along with S. Jagtar Singh Multani, President of Punjab Lubana Samaj, visited the residence of Bibi Jagir Kaur today.
During the meeting, Bibi Jagir Kaur formally inaugurated the national community portal of Lubana Samaj — www.lubanasamaj.in.
The newly launched platform has been developed as a dedicated digital hub for the Lubana community, bringing important community-related information, services and activities together under one platform.
The portal features dedicated sections for Matrimonial Services, Kutumb (Family Tree), Member Directory, Events, Gotras & Heritage, Blogs and News.
The Kutumb section aims to help families digitally document and connect their family trees, while the Member Directory will provide a platform for community members to connect with one another. The Matrimonial section is designed to facilitate suitable matrimonial connections within the community.
The portal will also highlight the history, gotras, heritage and cultural identity of the Lubana community, along with community events, news and informative blogs.
Speaking on the occasion, the importance of preserving the community’s heritage while using modern digital technology to strengthen connections among Lubana families was emphasised.
The launch of lubanasamaj.in marks an effort to create a unified digital platform for the Lubana community and strengthen connections between its members across different parts of India and around the world.
