Mumbai Gears Up for a Star-Studded Summit
The Ideas of India 2026 summit, organised by ABP Network, is all set to return with its fifth edition on February 27–28, 2026, at the prestigious Grand Hyatt in Mumbai. Acclaimed filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan and actor Ishaan Khatter will headline a session titled “Cinema of Empathy – Local Stories, Global Appeal” on February 27. Ghaywan’s directorial vision in films like Homebound and Khatter’s nuanced portrayal in the same have set a benchmark for storytelling rooted in empathy and cultural resonance.
Shreya Ghoshal on Global Music Magic
One of the most streamed artists of 2025, Shreya Ghoshal, will speak on “Going Global – Music Magic” on the evening of February 27. Known for her soulful voice and musical versatility, Ghoshal’s session is expected to explore how Indian music is capturing global audiences.
Visionary Directors – Crafting Visual Stories
On February 28, Aranya Sahay and Christo Tomy will lead a session titled “How to Win Viewers – The Director’s Vision”. Both filmmakers are acclaimed for pushing creative boundaries and redefining how stories are experienced on screen.
Adnan Sami – Music That Heals
Padma Shri awardee Adnan Sami will anchor an insightful session called “Music that Heals – The Magical World of Rhythm.” Known for his musical mastery and emotive compositions, Sami’s discussion will explore how music can be a force for healing and cultural connection.
Mrunal Thakur on Cross-Language Cinema
Bollywood star Mrunal Thakur, fresh from her recent film release Do Deewane Seher Mein, will speak during “Cinema Across Languages – Frontiers of Art.” Her insights will delve into how cinema transcends linguistic boundaries to connect audiences everywhere.
