A family hailing from the Jejon area of Hoshiarpur district in Punjab visited the sacred shrine on Friday to express their heartfelt gratitude to the deity. Doctors conducted various diagnostic examinations and administered medical treatments, but despite all efforts, there was no sign of improvement in the boy’s vision. With tears and total submission, the mother prayed fervently from the bottom of her heart. She pledged that if her son’s eyesight was restored, the family would travel to the Shaktipeeth in Himachal Pradesh, pay homage at the sacred Pindi, and offer a pair of silver eyes (chaandi ke netra) in gratitude.
