Police in Punjab have arrested three suspects in connection with a daring jewellery robbery that occurred five days ago, recovering a significant portion of the stolen valuables and bringing relief to the victims and community.

On February 8, 2026, local police registered a FIR after a shop owner reported that precious jewellery worth several lakhs of rupees was stolen under suspicious circumstances. According to the complaint, the robbery took place at a jewellery outlet where miscreants allegedly targeted the store and fled with gold ornaments and other valuable pieces belonging to the proprietor.

The case created concern among residents due to the substantial value of the loss and the bold nature of the theft. Law enforcement agencies began an urgent investigation, reviewing CCTV footage and gathering forensic evidence from the scene.

Police Action and Arrests

Punjab Police swiftly mobilised units based on leads and intelligence. Within five days of the incident, a dedicated team identified and apprehended three suspects believed to be directly involved in the robbery.
