The investigation into the recent shooting incident outside actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Juhu has taken a dramatic turn. According to Mumbai Police Crime Branch sources, the shooters conducted extensive reconnaissance around Aamir Khan’s residence before abandoning the plan due to complex movement patterns and tight security measures.
Why Aamir Khan Proved to Be a Difficult Target
Investigators revealed that the arrested suspects spent weeks tracking Aamir Khan’s routines. However, the veteran actor’s unpredictable travel schedule, coupled with his multiple residential properties and strong personal security ring, made executing an attack extremely difficult. The assailants reportedly carried out surveillance at several key locations, but Aamir Khan either remained indoors or traveled out of town for film shoots, offering no viable window of opportunity for the perpetrators. Faced with growing pressure from their handlers, the gang decided to abort their initial strategy and search for a more accessible alternative.
Shift of Target to Tiger Shroff and Execution of Attack
After failing to gain access to Aamir Khan, the shooters shifted their focus to Tiger Shroff, whose regular routines and public activities made him easier to reach. The suspect group tracked Tiger Shroff to a public sports facility in Juhu where he frequently visits for Sunday football matches. On the evening of October 18, assailants riding a motorcycle opened fire on the actor’s vehicle before fleeing the scene. While Tiger Shroff escaped unhurt, the firing left his driver and a bystander injured. The Mumbai Crime Branch has since made multiple arrests across several states and recovered weapons as the investigation continues into the larger criminal conspiracy linked to overseas handlers.
