Battle Between Gods and Demons in Himachal: Prophecy Predicts Witches’ Victory and Increased Natural Calamities

Date:

A centuries-old spiritual tradition unfolded in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh during the annual ritualistic battle between divine forces (gods) and evil forces (witches or demons). According to the ancient practice centered around the famous Mata Baglamukhi temple in Sehli, the annual cosmic battle resulted in a victory for the side of the witches this year. While religious scholars and temple priests state that this victory indicates a plentiful crop harvest, it also carries alarming predictions regarding an increase in natural disasters, road accidents, and untimely deaths.

The Ritual and Divine Revelation at Mata Baglamukhi Temple

The annual prophecy was delivered during the 66th annual Jag (spiritual assembly) at the Mata Baglamukhi Temple in Sehli, Mandi. The ritual commenced on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, where priest Gur Amarjeet Sharma performed elaborate prayers following divine instructions. At midnight, through traditional divine revelation (Devvani), Gur Amarjeet Sharma conveyed the outcome of the cosmic warfare to gathered devotees. Out of seven key battlegrounds, the witches secured victory at four locations, while the gods won at three, marking an overall victory for the dark forces this year.

Seven Symbolic Battlegrounds Across India

According to traditional belief, the supernatural conflict spans seven distinct geographical battlegrounds across the country. The battle formally begins at an island in the South Indian ocean and reaches its final climax at Ghoghradhar in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. While these two locations remain fixed every year, the remaining five change annually. This year, the designated battle sites included Gangaghat, Kurukshetra, Sikandradhar, Shikaridhar, and the historical Kangra Fort.

Predictions: High Crop Yield Amid Elevated Risks

The traditional timelines for this event dictate that divine and evil forces depart for battle on Devshayani Ekadashi in the month of Ashadha and conclude their conflict in the month of Bhadrapada. The overall outcome—determined by four victories for witches versus three for the gods—brings mixed predictions. While agricultural crop yields are expected to be abundant, the prophecy warns of heightened risks, including a rise in traffic accidents, natural calamities, sudden illnesses, and premature deaths across the region. Conversely, a victory for the gods typically yields a lighter harvest but guarantees safety, peace, and protection from untimely fatalities.
