Arjun Rampal Shares Unseen Dhurandhar BTS Video To Wish ‘Sher-e’ Ranveer Singh On His 41st Birthday

Date:

A Heartfelt Birthday Tribute From Co-Star Arjun Rampal

Bollywood powerhouse Ranveer Singh turned 41 today, July 6, 2026. To mark this special occasion, his Dhurandhar co-star and versatile actor Arjun Rampal took to Instagram to share a warm, affectionate birthday tribute. Rampal posted a special behind-the-scenes (BTS) video montage showcasing their deep off-screen camaraderie and friendship built during the intense shooting schedule of director Aditya Dhar’s spy-action duology. Along with the video, which quickly caught the attention of netizens, Rampal penned an emotional note celebrating their journey together as artists and friends.

Behind-the-Scenes Glimpses and Strong On-Set Camaraderie

The video montage shared by Rampal features an array of candid moments, laughing fits between intense takes, and a collection of stunning fan artworks dedicated to Ranveer’s character. Set to the popular film track Main Aur Tu, the video offers a rare peek into their dynamic behind the camera. A particularly gripping moment in the BTS clips shows the two actors covered in theatrical fake blood, laughing heartily right after shooting a high-octane climax fight sequence.

In Dhurandhar (2025) and its recently released sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge (March 2026), the duo shared a highly intense on-screen rivalry. Ranveer Singh portrayed the lead role of Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an undercover Indian intelligence officer operating in Pakistan under the identity of Hamza Ali Mazari. Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal delivered a critically acclaimed performance as the cold, strategic secondary-turned-primary antagonist Major Iqbal—an ISI officer chillingly referred to in the storyline as the “Angel of Death.”

Warm Industry Wishes and Fan Reactions

Rampal’s post melted hearts across social media platforms, drawing immediate reactions from fans and industry insiders alike. In his caption, Arjun wrote: “Happy Happy birthday Sher e, to more fabulous memories, performances, successes, love, ice baths, laughs, celebrations. Have a fabulous year ahead @ranveersingh big love and a huge hug.”

Joining the digital celebration, Arjun’s partner, Gabriella Demetriades, also left a sweet note in the comments section, writing, “Happy birthday @ranveersingh.” Fans flooded the post with comments praising the incredible chemistry the two shared on set, with many noting how refreshing it was to see such genuine warmth between the actors who played bitter enemies on the silver screen.

What Lies Ahead for Ranveer Singh?

Following the back-to-back box office triumphs of Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Ranveer Singh is riding high on a career-best wave of success. The birthday celebrations have added fresh momentum to his upcoming professional calendar. The superstar is reportedly preparing for a complete transformation for his next highly anticipated venture, Pralay. Financed under his home banner Maa Kasam Films, Pralay is touted to be a post-apocalyptic zombie thriller set in a ruined, futuristic Mumbai. Industry insiders suggest that the project will rely heavily on cutting-edge AI-powered visual effects, making it a first-of-its-kind spectacle in Indian cinema as it goes on floors later this year.
