Shocking Shooting Inside a Bank Branch

A shocking incident took place inside a bank branch in Ghaziabad, located in Uttar Pradesh, where a security guard allegedly opened fire on the bank manager. The incident occurred in the Loni Border police station area and created panic among employees and customers present inside the bank at the time.

According to police officials, the firing happened within the bank premises, causing chaos and fear among everyone in the building. People reportedly rushed out of the branch to save themselves after hearing the gunshot.

The victim, identified as bank manager Abhishek, sustained a critical gunshot wound during the incident. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, but unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries.

Guard Allegedly Fired the Shot

Initial investigations suggest that the accused security guard, identified as Ravinder, fired the shot inside the bank branch. The exact reason behind the attack has not yet been confirmed, and police are currently examining possible motives.

Authorities believe the incident may have been triggered by a dispute or personal disagreement, though officials have not ruled out other possibilities. Investigators are collecting statements from bank staff and eyewitnesses to understand what led to the sudden act of violence.

The shocking incident has raised serious concerns about security protocols and firearm handling within bank premises.

Panic and Chaos at the Bank

At the time of the firing, several employees and customers were present inside the bank. As soon as the gunshot rang out, panic spread quickly throughout the building.

Witnesses reported that people ran toward the exits while others hid inside rooms or behind counters in fear. The sudden violence created a tense atmosphere in the bank, with many customers leaving their work unfinished.

Local residents in the surrounding area also gathered outside the branch after hearing about the incident, adding to the commotion.

Police Launch Investigation

Soon after the incident was reported, teams from the Uttar Pradesh Police arrived at the scene and began an investigation.

Senior police officials confirmed that the accused guard fled the scene after firing the shot. Police teams have been formed to track him down, and raids are being conducted at possible locations to arrest him.

Authorities have also started questioning bank employees and witnesses to determine the exact sequence of events and the motive behind the crime.

Search Operation for the Accused

Police officials said special teams have been deployed to locate and arrest the suspect as soon as possible. Surveillance footage from the bank and nearby areas is being reviewed to trace the guard’s movements before and after the incident.

Investigators are also examining the guard’s employment background and personal history to determine whether there were prior disputes with the manager or other staff members.

The tragic incident has shocked the local community and highlighted the need for stricter security checks and monitoring of armed personnel assigned to sensitive locations such as banks.
