CBSE Class 10 Result 2026: DigiLocker Alert Issued, Results Expected Soon

DigiLocker Notification Signals Result Release

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 Result 2026 very soon. A recent notification from DigiLocker has created strong indications that the results could be released shortly. While CBSE has not officially confirmed the exact date and time, multiple reports suggest that the results may be declared in mid-April, possibly even today.

DigiLocker’s alert has advised students to stay prepared in advance. This proactive notification is important because CBSE increasingly relies on digital platforms to deliver marksheets and certificates securely.

Importance of DigiLocker for CBSE Results

DigiLocker, a government-backed digital platform, plays a crucial role in providing students with instant access to their marksheets. Once the results are declared, students can download their digital marksheets directly from DigiLocker’s “Issued Documents” section.

This method is especially helpful during high traffic situations when official CBSE websites may slow down or crash due to heavy user load.

Additionally, platforms like UMANG and SMS services can also be used to check results, ensuring multiple access points for students.

APAAR ID Requirement: What Students Must Know

A key highlight this year is the requirement of an APAAR ID. This is a unique student identification number introduced under the National Education Policy.

Students who already have their APAAR ID linked with CBSE will receive their marksheets automatically in DigiLocker. However, those who do not have an APAAR ID must create a DigiLocker account manually before the result is announced.

Experts advise students not to wait until the last moment and to complete all necessary setup in advance to avoid delays or technical issues.

How to Create DigiLocker Account Without APAAR ID

Students without an APAAR ID can still access their results by creating a DigiLocker account. Follow these steps:

  • Visit the official DigiLocker CBSE portal
  • Click on “Get Started”
  • Enter details and access code provided by your school
  • Verify your mobile number via OTP
  • Activate your account

Once completed, your account will be ready to receive your digital marksheet instantly after the result declaration.

How to Check CBSE 10th Result 2026

Students can check their results through the official CBSE websites:

  • Visit results.cbse.nic.in
  • Click on “Class 10 Result 2026”
  • Enter roll number, school number, admit card ID, DOB
  • Submit and view result
  • Download and save the marksheet

Students are advised to keep their admit cards handy to avoid delays while checking results.

Multiple Platforms Ensure Easy Access

To avoid inconvenience, CBSE has enabled multiple platforms for result access, including:

Official CBSE websites

DigiLocker

UMANG App

SMS services

This multi-platform approach ensures that students can access their results smoothly even during peak traffic times.
