Vishwakarma Puja 2025: Honoring the Divine Engineer

Vishwakarma Puja is celebrated to honor Lord Vishwakarma, believed to be the first architect and engineer of creation. It is said that performing this puja with full devotion, chanting mantras, and offering prayers brings skill, safety, and unbreakable success in one’s work.
In 2025, Vishwakarma Puja will be celebrated on October 22.

It is believed that chanting Lord Vishwakarma’s mantras during the puja brings success in every field of life.


Vishwakarma Puja Vidhi (Worship Procedure)

Step-by-Step Puja Method:

  1. Early Morning Preparations:

    • Wake up early, take a bath, and wear clean clothes.

    • Clean all machines, tools, and your workplace thoroughly.

  2. Setting Up the Worship Space:

    • Install a picture or idol of Lord Vishwakarma at the workplace.

    • Alternatively, place a Kalash (sacred pot) and invoke the presence of the deity on it.

  3. Gather the Puja Items:

    • Collect items like roli (vermilion), akshat (unbroken rice), flowers, sweets, fruits, incense sticks, and lamps.

  4. Sanctify the Tools:

    • Sprinkle Ganga water (holy water) on tools and machines.

    • Apply turmeric, kumkum, and akshat on them as a mark of reverence.

  5. Performing the Puja:

    • Meditate on Lord Vishwakarma and take a vow (sankalp) to perform the puja with devotion.

    • Offer water, incense, lamp, flowers, and prasad to the deity.

  6. Aarti and Prasad Distribution:

    • Sing or recite the aarti (devotional hymn) of Lord Vishwakarma.

    • Distribute the prasad (blessed offering) among everyone present.
