The victim, identified as former sarpanch Chuhad Singh, was engaged in mining work at the site when the massive tipper lost control and crushed him under its wheels.

According to local eyewitness accounts, the tipper was transporting heavy loads far beyond its permitted capacity. Rather than being stopped by authorities, these vehicles reportedly operate with impunity during the daytime, often flouting safety rules and overloading norms. The tragic collision has once again highlighted serious gaps in enforcing transport and road safety regulations in the region.

Local Outrage and Administrative Response

Community leaders and residents expressed deep anger toward the local administration, claiming that repeated written complaints and peaceful protests had been lodged about the reckless movement of overloaded tipper trucks before the tragedy.
