Dera Beas Chief Arrives at Historical Hira Mahal in Nabha

Spiritual leader and head of Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB), Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon, made a special visit to Nabha in Patiala district, Punjab. The Dera chief arrived at the historic Hira Mahal, the ancestral residence of the erstwhile royal family of Nabha. His arrival created an atmosphere of deep devotion and excitement across the town as news of his visit spread rapidly among the followers of the RSSB sect.

Private Meeting Held with Royal Family Members

During his stay at Hira Mahal, Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon held a closed-door meeting with prominent members of the Nabha royal family. The Dera chief reached Hira Mahal at around 1:25 PM and spent over an hour interacting with the family members. Given that it was categorized as a strictly personal and private visit, media personnel and journalists were requested to maintain a distance from the venue. Security arrangements were kept discrete yet tight around the premises to ensure privacy and order.

Devotees Brave Humid Weather to Seek Blessings

As word of the Dera chief’s arrival spread, hundreds of devotees (sangat) gathered outside the complex and along the approach roads leading to Hira Mahal. Despite the intense heat and humid weather, the faithful waited patiently for nearly two hours just to get a brief glimpse (darshan) of Baba Ji. As his convoy entered and later departed the premises at around 2:45 PM, devotees greeted him with deep reverence, bowing their heads and folding hands in spiritual devotion.

Significance of the High-Profile Visit to Nabha

The visit underscores the longstanding personal ties and mutual respect between the leadership of Radha Soami Satsang Beas and prominent regional families in Punjab. Known for his spiritual discourses and quiet personal engagements, Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon’s brief stopover in Nabha left an indelible mark on the local community. After spending approximately an hour and twenty minutes in discussions with the royal family, the Dera head departed Nabha for his next scheduled destination under security cover.
