Chandigarh, September 16, 2026: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has said that the state will mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service on September 17 through the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’.
According to Saini, the campaign is aimed at highlighting Modi’s 25-year journey in public life and will be organised as part of programmes marking the occasion.
‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ Programme Across Haryana
As part of the celebrations, CM Saini has appealed to people across Haryana to light an ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ at their homes between 6 pm and 7 pm on September 17.
According to the Chief Minister, the diya is intended to symbolise people’s good wishes for the Prime Minister and their acknowledgement of his 25 years in public service. He also urged citizens to take a pledge for the nation on the occasion.
CM Highlights PM Modi’s Visits to Haryana
Saini also highlighted Prime Minister Modi’s visits to Haryana, stating that Modi has visited the state 18 times as Prime Minister.
The Chief Minister said that during these visits, Haryana received development projects worth more than ₹86,000 crore. These figures and the assessment of the Prime Minister’s connection with Haryana were presented by Saini in his statement.
Seva Sankalp Abhiyan
The ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ is being organised to mark Modi’s 25 years of public service. The Haryana government has said the campaign will take place across the state, with programmes focused on the Prime Minister’s public-life journey.
The campaign is scheduled to begin on September 17, 2026, and related programmes are planned through October 17.
The Haryana Chief Minister said the September 17 programme would provide an opportunity for people across the state to participate in the occasion through the ‘Aashirwad Ka Diya’ initiative.
